at last roses
We have lived at our house for 2 years. We had over grown bushes on the front of our house and lots of greenery around the one side of our house, with no pop of color. So when Proven Winners sent me their new At Last Roses to check out and share with you, I could not resist (they are not available until 2018). They were just what we needed in our flower garden. And what lady says no to roses with roots?
The most fragrant box arrived at my door step and inside were 4 – one-gallon pots with the an awesome aroma. The At Last Rose blossoms are a beautiful light orange color with a yellow hue in the middle and have a delightful fragrance that lingers in the air. The blossoms are about 2 inches wide. There were blossoms, but many many roses still waiting to bloom.
Care and Planting
I planted mine on the side of my porch so that we can enjoy their fragrance when we sit on the porch. These roses are perfect for me as they are easy care. Spraying them is not necessary, pruning is not needed and they are disease resistant. You can expect to enjoy roses from late Spring through the Fall, making them a delightful addition to your garden.
You don’t need to deadhead your roses if you don’t want to (another bonus for easy care). I did deadhead a few of the roses that had lost their petals before planting. The plants arrive well watered and with plastic bags around the pots. The roses are expected to take about 36″ of space when fully grown, so give them space when planting.
I’m so excited to sit on my porch and enjoy these flowers this and in coming years. They are very lovely and you deserve to experience them yourself in a giveaway of your own At Last Roses.

We have an empty flower bed at the front of our home that needs attention. We just bought the house, so it isn’t entirely our fault.
They’re so pretty! I would plant them outside in my front yard.
I’ve had great luck with the Proven Winners brand and can find it easily at Lowe’s and Home Depot. They are healthy and hardy plants that have done really well in my garden. I love their vibrant colors!
I would plant the roses right next to my patio so I could smell the beautiful aroma whenever I am relaxing.
I like that the DIY hanging basket kit is a no brainer. Everything is done for me. All I have to do is hang it up.
